Product Description Stainless Steel Food Grade Vertical Vegetables Peanutpaste JM Series Colloid Mill Machine A stainless steel grinding mill or grinding colloid mill is a machine that uses stainless steel parts to break down solid particles or liquid droplets into smaller molecules. The machine is made up of a rotor and a stator, with the rotor spinning at high speeds and forcing a slurry into a cavity formed by the stator. The cones of the mill, which are made of stainless steel or corundum, crush the compounds together, shearing them into smaller pieces.Working PrincipleA stainless-steel grinding colloid mill, also known as a colloid mill, uses the rotor-stator principle to reduce the size of particles in a liquid suspension or droplets in emulsions: Feed: Solid materials are fed into the mill's inlet, also known as a hopper. Shear: The rotor and stator collide with each other, forcing the material into a cavity formed by the spinning rotor and fixed stator. The material is then passed through a narrow gap between the rotor and stator, where it experiences intense shearing, rubbing, and cutting. Centrifugal force also propels the material to the outside of the rotor. Refine: The material is crushed, emulsified, and homogenized to reach a refined product. Additional passes through the mill can further reduce the drop size.
