Main Components of the Production Line1. Base Paper StandFunction: Used to hold and secure the large rolls of base paper required for production. A production line typically has multiple base paper stands to support production of different flute types and specifications.Types: Available in electric and hydraulic stands. Modern high-speed lines often use hydraulic, shaftless base paper stands, which enable quick paper changes and minimize downtime.2. Preheater/PreconditionerFunction: Preheats and moistens the base paper before it enters the corrugating rollers.Purpose: Removes moisture absorbed by the base paper during storage, allowing it to reach the optimal temperature and humidity to ensure a good bond with the adhesive (starch paste) and form a strong flute shape.3. Single-FacerFunction: The "heart" of the production line, responsible for producing single-faced corrugated board (i.e., a layer of corrugated medium paper bonded to a single facer).Core Components:Corrugating Rollers: A pair of intermeshing metal rollers with hollow heating elements. The upper roller is the pressure roller, and the lower roller is the corrugating roller. Their surfaces are shaped with grooves of specific flute patterns (such as A, B, C, E, and F). Paper passes through the high-temperature, high-pressure corrugating rollers, forming wavy flutes.Gluing device: Apply starch paste evenly to the peaks of the flutes.Pressure roller: Presses the face paper onto the glued core paper, forming single-faced corrugated board.4. Bridge conveyorFunction: Provides an overhead passage connecting the single-facer and double-facer (triple preheater).Purpose: Allows the single-faced corrugated board to cool for a period of time, allowing moisture to evaporate and the adhesive to initially cure. It also acts as a buffer and coordinates production speeds between upstream and downstream processes. A brake can be installed to control the tension of the board.5. Triple preheater 6.Double gluing machineThe triple preheater: Preheats the single-faced corrugated board from the single-facer and the new face paper to the optimal bonding temperature.1.After the surface of the glue roller is tempered, the inner hole is processed, the dynamic balance surface is finely ground and engraved with 32-line pit-type mesh, the glue is evenly applied and the glue consumption is small.2.The rotation of the glue roller is controlled by a variable frequency motor and variable frequency. The variable frequency control ensures that the linear speed of the glue roller is synchronized with the double-sided machine, and it can also operate independently.3.Automatic cycle glue supply can effectively control the glue amount and avoid glue precipitation.4.All roller surfaces are hard chrome plated after grinding.7.Double facerFunction: Bonds single-faced corrugated cardboard to another layer of paperboard (or another single-faced cardboard layer) to form double-walled (e.g., AB or BC) or triple-walled corrugated cardboard.Core Components: A large heating plate (heated bed) and a conveyor belt. As the cardboard passes between the heated bed and the conveyor belt, the high temperature and pressure completely gelatinize the starch paste, firmly bonding the layers together.Cooling SectionFunction: Cools and shapes the hot cardboard fresh from the double-faced machine.Purpose: Cools the cardboard using natural or forced air, removing moisture and heat from the cardboard, allowing the adhesive to fully cure, stabilizing the flute shape and flatness, and preventing warping.8. Slitter/Creamer9. Crosscutting MachineFunction: Slits wide-width cardboard lengthwise and creates creases based on order requirements.Purpose: Slitting: Cuts the cardboard into the desired width using a circular blade. Squeezing: A squeezing wheel presses the lines needed for future bends into the cardboard, ensuring accurate box formation.Function: Precisely cuts the continuous flow of cardboard horizontally to the length specified by the order.Features: This is a highly technical part of the production line. The crosscutting blade must move synchronously with the cardboard, achieving precise cuts at high speeds and then quickly returning to its starting position.10. StackerFunction: Automatically stacks and counts cut sheets of cardboard.Types: Available in horizontal and vertical output stackers.
