Product Description Product Description The machine has wide application in pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries... It can make use of crystal water of raw material and squeeze material into granules. The technique is simplified and product quality improved. Nowadays, from perspective of machine model, there are two kinds of dry granulators, namely, pre-pressing in high position and pre-pressing in low position. The machine can also be closed or open when distinguished from appearance. In addition, roller compactor's production speed varies from 5KG/h to 300KG/h. What is introduced here is the high positioned pre-pressing, closed-type general purpose machine- model 100, which is suitable for pharmaceutical production, chemical and food industries.Features1)This is a new machine which makes use of crystal water in raw material and granulate material directly;2)No water, ethanol or other wetting agents is needed, which can help avoid unstable granules;3)Processes of wetting, mixing and drying are skipped for high efficiency;4)Material is pre-pressed so that the produced tablets features high density, uniform weight and no break;5)The machine is small and easy to clean, which conforms to GMP;6)Material can be directly sieved after squeezing;7)Drainage and air pollution can be avoided. The machine besides features easy cleaning, small size, high efficiency and high rotating speed and granules are of uniform size.8)The machine speed can be controlled within a wide range. The machine can process material which is viscous, heat-sensitive, poorly fluid, highly wet, gummy or oily. The mesh of end product is also controlled within a wide range. Mechanical Properties1)Output: The nominal output of the granulator refers to the hourly output of a certain material sheet. The hourly output of some materials can exceed the nominal output, and the output of some materials is less than the nominal output. The actual output depends on the nature of the material.2)Extrusion heat: Extrusion heat is generated due to the intense extrusion of the material during operation of the dry granulator. This heat is transferred to parts such as the extrusion wheel and hopper, and the continuous operation causes the temperature to rise continuously until it is balanced with the heat radiated from the body to the surrounding space. The "Roller Compactor/Dry Granulator-Model 100" is equipped with a water cooling system, which can control the temperature in a lower range (45oC). So this "dry granulator-model 100" has continuous production capacity. If there are conditions in the factory, four auxiliary machines can be designed and manufactured, and the granulator, tablet press or hard capsule filling unit can be integrated into an automatic assembly line, so that the output and quality can be improved.Working PrincipleMaterial is squeezed to granules under high pressure. At first, material powder in hopper is conveyed and compressed by biconical auger whose pitches are not equal. Therefore, powder density multiplies and powder is squeezed to the top of two rollers where powder undertake pressures from five directions. Rotation of squeezing rollers then pushes powder to the gap between rollers, at which powder is squeezed to hard slice. At last, slice can be ground, screened and sorted.Working ProcessPut the mixed ingredients and the powder with certain compressibility into the hopper. Pre-pressing auger can pre-press material which with certain density and convey it to compression rollers. After compression, slices drop into grinding device where they are ground to small granules. Granules are then sifted by a screen. Granules smaller than screen mesh will drop into a container. This whole process is automatic. There is a sampling port on the upper part of the grinding device, which can be sampled for inspection at any time and adjusted in time to ensure that the machine is stable and produce qualified products.
